Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Daffodil Month with the Canadian Cancer Society

HALO CEO Paula Roberts was pleased to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Daffodil Month on Parliament Hill with our client Lynne Hudson - Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS); the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau - Prime Minister of Canada; Jane Philpott - Canada’s Minister of Health and cancer survivor Japji.

Making a donation, buying a daffodil pin or flowers supports a long history of helping people with cancer and funds life-saving research, information and support services. Since the 1950s, the overall cancer survival rate has increased from 35% to over 60% today, thanks in part to research funded by flower sales.

It has been two months since CCS merged with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) and already the stage is being set to transform cancer care as Canadians know it. HALO Brand Leadership is proud to be part of this unprecedented consolidation.
