Confident Women of Character

Paula Roberts is proud to serve as Vice Chair of the Foundation for Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority. With more than 250,000 members across Canada and the United States since inception, Gamma Phi Beta is one of the 10 oldest women’s organizations in North America. Founded in 1874, the group’s mission is – ‘To Build Confident Women of Character Who Make a Difference in the World’, with the Foundation focused on inspiring and granting funding for scholarships for collegiate members, as well as life-changing leadership and educational programming for all members.

Paula joined Gamma Phi Beta in 1984 at the University of Oklahoma and has served in a variety of capacities locally and internationally. Notably, in 2022 she served on the Steering Committee overseeing fundraising for a $1.5M USD refurbishment of Gamma Phi’s 75 person live-in facility in Norman, Oklahoma. That same year, Paula joined the Board of Trustees for the International Foundation. In addition to serving as Vice Chair, Paula also sits on the Governance and Stewardship Committees.

The organization holds a convention every two years where hundreds of women of all ages come together to discuss critical business, plan for the future and learn together.
